Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan engaged in discussions with Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir at Ankara Airport, marking the commencement of Munir’s two-day official visit to Türkiye. This meeting took place just before President Erdoğan’s departure for an official visit to Qatar, underscoring the significance of the interaction between the two leaders.
During the meeting, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director Ibrahim Kalın were also present, highlighting the importance Türkiye places on its strategic partnership with Pakistan. Earlier in his visit, Munir held separate discussions with Bayraktaroğlu, reflecting the collaborative spirit between the two nations.
