Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have taken a significant step towards enhancing their collaborative efforts in research and knowledge exchange by signing a new memorandum of understanding. The agreement, finalized in Riyadh, involves the King Fahd National Library and the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies.
The memorandum outlines plans to facilitate the sharing of scientific and knowledge resources, including information and documents, between the two nations. It also aims to promote visits by researchers and specialists, fostering an environment of mutual learning and cooperation.
In addition to resource exchange, the agreement sets forth initiatives to organize joint seminars, workshops, and conferences. These events are expected to serve as platforms for dialogue and further collaboration in research and knowledge-sharing endeavors.
Training programs are also part of the agreement, designed to bolster research capabilities and support the dissemination of knowledge.
